Choosing a provider
- Look for the Verified badge. It means our team approved the provider’s application.
- Read reviews from customers whose jobs were completed.
- Check the areas they cover and their years of experience.
- For health, care, legal and tutoring services, ask to see qualifications.
- Request quotes from more than one provider if you’d like to compare.
Agreeing the job
- Describe the job clearly: what needs doing, how big it is, and your preferred date.
- Agree the price, what it includes (materials, transport) and the timing in the in-app chat.
- For big jobs, consider paying a deposit and the rest when the work is finished.
- For now, you pay the provider directly. Keep a record of what you agreed and paid.

Keep contact in the app
Chat and call through MatchYourService. Your phone number and email address stay private.
Never share codes or card details
No provider or MatchYourService staff member will ever ask for your password, PIN, card details or one-time codes.
Your address, when it’s needed
Providers see only your area until a job is accepted. If you can, have someone with you when a provider visits your home.
Report anything that feels wrong
Use Report on the provider’s profile. In an emergency, call 112 first.
After the job
- Once the provider marks the job complete, leave an honest review. It helps other customers choose.
- Save providers you liked, so you can find them again quickly.
If something goes wrong
- Talk to the provider first in the chat. Most problems can be fixed quickly.
- You can cancel a request before it’s accepted.
- If it isn’t resolved, report the provider. Our team investigates every report.
